Research Intern

Robotics is at an exciting junction. Deployments are just starting, and no method is clearly the best yet. Incredible progress lands every day, and every step forward uncovers hundreds of new problems. There has never been a better time to enter the field.

That's why we're looking for research interns to work with us. You'll be working on Real2Sim2Real pipelines to push the frontier of robotics simulation and evaluation. Based on your work during the internship, there is a path to a full-time role with us.

What you'll work on

  • World models, VLAs, classical control: all sorts of robot learning and control policies.

  • Evaluating models, architectures and policies across multiple manipulators, in sim and on real hardware.

  • Building and evaluating Real2Sim2Real pipelines, including sensor tuning, 3D reconstruction and system identification.

Who you are

  • You've got your hands dirty with robots. You love building, testing and breaking them.

  • You're curious across domains, from learning and simulation to physics and hardware.

  • You think like a researcher and work like an engineer. You read the paper, then make it run on a real robot.

  • A current student or recent graduate in engineering. Master's and PhD students are a great fit.

  • Hands-on experience with real robots and at least one simulator (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Genesis or Gazebo).

  • Working knowledge of robot learning (RL, imitation learning or VLAs).

How we hire

  • One interview round. We'll tell you our decision within a week.
